Description

The Information Technology program is career-oriented, career-laddered, and competency-based. The program focuses on cyber security, programming fundamentals, network connectivity, hands-on type projects, front-end graphical user interface (GUI) programming with strong connectivity to databases on standalone computers and server platforms including the web environment. This is all done within the context of supporting business activities. Upon satisfactory completion of the required 60 credits, the student earns an Associate in Science degree. The AS program also is designed to articulate with a Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) degree with a concentration in Information Technology at the University of Hawaiʻi–West Oʻahu.
