- Year 1 Fall Semester: Humanities Complementary needs to be from ONE subject area (CM, HIST, HPST, PHIL). ENG 300 and 440/45 offered at least once a year. Multi-Cultural Core, 9 credits from different disciplines, no more than 6 from any one SUBJECT AREA.
- Year 1 Spring Semester: Humanities Complementary needs to be from ONE subject area (CM, HIST, HPST, PHIL). ENG Primary: 9 upper division credits in ONE of the following four fields: Literacy Studies, Creative Writing, Rhetoric and Composition and Cultural Studies
- Year 2: ENG Primary: 9 upper division credits in ONE of the following four fields: Literacy Studies, Creative Writing, Rhetoric and Composition and Cultural Studies. ENG Secondary: One course in a field other than the Primary Field: ENG Elective: 6 upper division credits of ENG, across any field.
