- UH West Oʻahu does not offer fully online-only degree programs. Lower-division coursework (first two years) needs to be completed via in-person and online classes at UH West Oʻahu, UH Community Colleges, or accepted as transfer credits from an accredited institution outside of the UH System. - Students located on Kauaʻi who are transferring to UH West Oʻahu B.Ed program will need to transfer with an Associate of Science in Teaching (AST) degree from Leeward Community College.
- Required field experience in a DOE classroom may be completed at the student's home island.
