Online Teaching & Learning (T&L) Hui Series
The 2020-2021 Online T&L Hui fall and spring series was created as part of the UHOIC’s mission to innovate and test a variety of professional development and networking opportunities for faculty and staff. While the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive from this series, we will be pausing this event series and exploring some new possibilities.
Keep providing us with your thoughts and stay tuned as we continue our planning. You can expect some new and exciting things to come in the upcoming semesters!
“Hui” is a Hawaiian word that represents a group that congregates, meets, and intermingles (Nā Puke Wehewehe ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi). The Online Teaching & Learning (T&L) Hui is a fluid group of faculty and staff who want to informally share ideas, “talk stories,” and dive deeper into trending online learning topics.
Sharing will be open-forum style with a free flowing agenda driven by the conversation. This will not be a presentation or workshop with structured/guided content (structured professional learning and development opportunities are also available on the All Upcoming Events page). Hui participants will actively participate during each session, so be sure to have your microphone and camera ready!
What's In It For Me?
- Connect and network with other faculty and staff from across the UH system to learn and share experiences with each other.
- Leave the session with helpful strategies, tips, and/or resources for online teaching and learning.
- Celebrate successes and tackle challenges shared during each session as a collective hui!
