Innovation Playground
Have you thought about playing with the latest educational technology trends and innovations but just never found the time or motivation to do it? Well now’s your chance! Join in on UHOIC’s monthly offering where you can test out and explore a wide range of tools with colleagues across the UH system. The Innovation Playground series is open to all UH faculty and staff to attend. Please register with your Google@UH email address in the “How Do I Sign Up” section below to access the Zoom webinar credentials. Resources will be made publicly available after each session.
Come “PL(AI)” and explore artificial intelligence (AI) tools this Fall 2023 semester!
Purpose?
The main purpose of these 60-minute sessions is to provide a time and space for participants to explore new and trending ed tech tools and innovations. While less formally structured than a webinar, leverage this unique opportunity to ʻImi Aku, ʻImi Mai (research, explore, investigate) together in a fun and safe space.
Format?
Each playground session will have a main topic of focus, with dedicated “hands-on” time for participants to actively engage with suggested tools/ed tech along with an open forum for the group to share, discuss, and/or talk story after initial exploration.
This will not be a presentation or workshop with structured/guided content (structured professional learning and development opportunities are also available on the UHOIC-Hosted Upcoming Events page). Participants will actively explore and participate in each session, so all are welcome to engage with colleagues via chat, audio, and video!
