What is the H5P + Laulima Pilot?
The H5P + Laulima pilot began as a direct result of numerous UH faculty and staff inquiring and advocating for a diverse tool that could increase student interaction and engagement. There was also a need for the tool to integrate smoothly with the Laulima Gradebook to ensure efficiency while increasing student learning for online instructors. A cross functional collaboration of UH ITS administrators and staff, along with instructional designers across the UH System was formed to jointly explore the H5P tool and determine its functionality within Laulima.
Another first for UH besides exploring the H5P tool was the integration of enterprise instructional design and technical support models within the learning community, which was implemented throughout the pilot with a focus on innovation and scaling for impact.
