About UH H5P
What is UH H5P?
H5P is an authoring tool used to transform course content into a wide range of learning activities like interactive videos, quizzes, games, presentations, and more. In 2021, University of Hawaiʻi piloted the use of H5P.com licensed accounts with a cohort of faculty and staff across nine campuses. The group successfully integrated H5P activities into Laulima courses to engage students and track their progress through integrated gradebook items. Since then, additional program pathways have been created to encourage alumni mentorship and offer independent user options.
With the enterprise learning management system (LMS) transition from Laulima (Sakai) to Lamakū (Brightspace by D2L), the first-year program has been rebranded as the Lamakū+ to expand the tools of focus from H5P to Creator+ (with H5P) and Lumi. UH H5P programs now includes the Lamakū+ program for first-year participants and the H5P I Mua program for returning participants.

Do you get excited about sharing your created resources with others in the UH Community?
