Lamakū Resources Knowledge Base

If you need assistance with your course design and/or instruction, utilize Instructional Design services or follow the Online Teaching & Learning Pathways.

UH System and campus-specific instructional designers are also available to provide support as instructors design, develop, or improve upon their courses.

UH Online Quality Standards

Developed in 2025 by condensing and cross-walking national online standards into one set tailored to the UH context.

The UH Quality Online Standards is a system-wide document for faculty and staff to reference for online course design and delivery, created through a collaborative effort of instructional designers and faculty support members of the UH Instructional Design Professional Learning Community (ID PLC). Google@UH login is required to access the document.

Course Design Document

Make a copy of the Course Design Document to help you write out and organize your course content! The template is a Google Doc and has 5 weeks/modules included.  Feel free to add as many weeks or modules as needed for your course.
