Kapi‘olani Summer Camp is on again this summer for August 5-8, and we want to hear from YOU! Last year, 333 participants joined us for this free, peer reviewed online conference and professional development event. All University of Hawai‘i staff, faculty and administrators are invited to submit a presentation proposal. Presenters will be notified of their acceptance by May 24.

Kapi‘olani Summer Camp 2023 ⛺️

Kapi‘olani Summer Camp (July 31 – August 4) is an engaging, free, Zoom-based professional development and personal growth event hosted by Kapi‘olani Community College. Presenters from all 10 UH campuses and beyond will facilitate a diverse range of sessions that include instructional, cultural, health, and wellness topics, and much more. You, your colleagues, your friends, and ‘ohana are welcome to attend this FREE event!

All UH employees are welcome to utilize the fully online, professional development program focused on Digital Accessibility! This is a low-pressure, self-paced learning resource with the option to complete a competency assessment to earn a digital credential. Learn important fundamental concepts of accessibility and how to apply your new knowledge to your digital learning content!

Summer Camp is a free, fully online Zoom-based professional development event for higher ed. and K-12 hosted by Kapi‘olani CC. Sessions cover a diverse range of formats and topics from instructional, cultural, health and wellness, and more. Staff, faculty, and everyone is welcome – feel free to invite colleagues, friends, and family who may be interested!

Last year, 45 presenters and 245 participants joined us for this free, Zoom-based event from across Hawai‘i and beyond. We’re hoping to make an even bigger splash this year with some summer professional development for everyone!
