AI and Authentic Assessment: Practical Strategies & Approaches

Description: 
Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools provide unprecedented opportunities for educators to design assessments that engage students in real-world-like tasks and projects. Participants will take away practical strategies and approaches to design authentic assessments utilizing the advantages that AI tools provide, while addressing the challenges of academic integrity and plagiarism. The strategies and approaches will include the presenters’ personal experiences and a synthesis of published classroom AI applications from over 100 educators. Participants will have time to reflect on how they can adapt the strategies with concrete examples and resources.
