Program Description

The skills employers value are the foundation of a liberal arts degree: written and oral communication, problem solving, global awareness, and analytical and critical thinking. Employers also look for a strong work ethic, teamwork, initiative, and adaptability. These are the abilities and the knowledge base learned and enhanced in liberal arts courses. Choosing a liberal arts major is the best preparation for transfer to a four-year university, and to succeed in a world where new and unexpected careers are invented every day. (60 credits)
