About the Cohort

What is the H5P + Laulima Program?
The H5P + Laulima program began as a direct result of numerous UH faculty and staff inquiring and advocating for a diverse tool that could increase student interaction and engagement. There was also a need for the tool to integrate smoothly with the Laulima Gradebook to ensure efficiency while increasing student learning for online instructors. A cross functional collaboration of UH ITS administrators and staff, along with instructional designers across the UH System was formed to jointly explore the H5P tool and determine its functionality within Laulima.
Since the initial pilot cohort in 2021, the program has expanded to incorporate additional UH H5P programs and pathways alongside the H5P + Laulima program.

Program Criteria
Note: This cohort program is for new participants only. Cohort participants who do not actively use their H5P license may lose access.
- Participate in the required H5P + Laulima Orientation.
- Explore and create multiple H5P interactives for your Laulima course(s).
- Share and network with cohort members and other faculty who may be interested in using H5P.
- Share a variety of H5P interactives to be considered for the UH Interactives Library and/or highlighted on the UHOIC website.
- Evaluate H5P interactives by encouraging my students to complete the UH H5P + Laulima: Student Feedback Survey and by sharing my experiences via the UH H5P + Laulima: Faculty/Staff User Survey.
- Stay active in using the H5P + Laulima license.
