Description

The Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology is a two-year program designed to provide multicultural, student-centered training in counseling psychology with a specialization in clinical mental health counseling. Program is restricted to students residing in the State of Hawaiʻi. The graduates are eligible to become a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Hawaiʻi and elsewhere.

Attendance Information

Students are required to be in Hilo for seven days during their two years in the program (i.e., 1 day in Fall semester of 1st year, 4 days (2 weekends) in Spring semester of 1st year, and 2 days in Spring semester of 2nd year). Attend ITV class meetings at student’s island UH campus.
